Privacy Policy
Mindset Plus PH is a mental-health education organisation in the Philippines. People trust us with personal information, and some of it is personal in the deepest sense. We take that seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It follows the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
This policy covers every Mindset Plus service that links to it, including our website (mindsetplus.com.ph), our online assessments, and our session booking.
Our promise, in short
- We collect only what we need to provide the service you came for.
- We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. Not to advertisers, not to anyone.
- We never use it for advertising.
- Wellbeing information is treated as our most sensitive data. Only the small team who needs it can see it.
- You stay in control. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
What we collect
When you visit our websites. Like every website, our servers receive basic technical details: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. We may use analytics tools to count visits and see which pages are useful. Analytics cookies that recognise you on a later visit are set only if you agree to them.
When you sign in. Some services let you sign in with Google or Facebook. We receive your name, email address and profile picture from that account. We never see or store your Google or Facebook password.
When you take an assessment. We store your answers and your results. Because these describe your wellbeing, we treat them as sensitive personal information.
When you book a session. We collect your name, email address, contact number, the kind of session you want, its date and time, and any notes you choose to add.
When you contact us. We keep the messages you send us and our replies.
We do not ask for more than a service needs. If a question is optional, you can leave it blank.
How we use it
- To provide the service you asked for: your assessment, your booking, or an answer to your message.
- To review assessment results and follow up where that is part of the service.
- To keep our services secure and to block spam and misuse.
- To improve our websites, using visit counts and other figures that do not identify you.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build marketing profiles of anyone.
How we keep it safe
- Encrypted connections. Every Mindset Plus service is served over HTTPS, so information is encrypted between your device and us.
- Encrypted storage. Your information is stored with established hosting and database providers that encrypt it at rest.
- Limited access. Only authorised members of the Mindset Plus team can open personal information, and only for the work they do. Their accounts are protected with strong sign-in controls.
- A record of who looked. When a team member opens an individual assessment record, that access is logged.
- Maintained systems. We keep our systems updated and monitor them for problems.
- If something goes wrong, and it affects your information, we will tell you promptly and explain what we are doing about it.
No system on the internet is perfectly secure, but protecting your information is part of how we build and run everything we do.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only in these cases:
- Service providers who run parts of our services for us, such as our web hosts, our database provider, and Google, which provides sign-in, spam protection, analytics, and the workplace tools we use. If you choose to sign in with Facebook, Meta provides that sign-in. These providers may use your information only to provide their service to us.
- When you ask us to.
- When the law requires it.
Some of these providers store data outside the Philippines. We choose providers with strong, established security.
Children and young people
Much of our work is with schools and young people. If you are under 18, please use our services with the knowledge of your parent or guardian, or through your school. A parent or guardian can contact us at any time to see or delete information about their child.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as the law requires. After that we delete it or make it anonymous. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- be informed about how your personal information is used;
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct it if it is wrong or incomplete;
- object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time;
- have it deleted or blocked;
- receive a copy of it in a format you can use elsewhere;
- be compensated for damage caused by inaccurate, unlawfully obtained or unauthorised use of your information.

Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. Some are needed for a service to work, such as keeping you signed in or remembering your cookie choice. Analytics cookies are set only if you agree to them. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you on our websites.
